Unpacking Anti-Asian Hate

I am pleased to offer a thought-provoking and educational two-part workshop titled "Unpacking Anti-Asian Hate" co-presented with my friend and colleague Lauren Mark, PhD.

In part one, we delve into the rich historical context surrounding AAPI community formation, unraveling the narratives that have shaped the Asian American experience. Through engaging conversations and comprehensive research, participants gain a deep understanding of the diverse cultures, struggles, and resilience of this community.

Part two of the workshop takes a closer look at the intergenerational journeys towards belonging. We explore how the AAPI community has navigated discrimination and challenges across generations, and engage in insightful discussions about identity, culture, and the pursuit of a sense of belonging.

This workshop provides a safe space for participants to expand their knowledge, self-awareness, and empathy, empowering them to become advocates for inclusivity and justice.

Integrating DEI/DEIB into K-12 curriculum & Work place

I offer comprehensive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) trainings for educators, administrators, non-profits, and corporations. I recognize the crucial role that schools and organizations play in fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all students, employees and community members. My tailored DEIB trainings are designed to empower professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to create safe and equitable spaces for all individuals. Through interactive workshops, engaging discussions, and practical strategies, we equip participants with the tools to address implicit biases, dismantle systemic barriers, promote cultural competence, and foster a sense of belonging. By providing expertise and guidance, I strive to create transformative experiences that promote DEIB in all educational and organizational settings.

Reproductive health and Justice

I am dedicated to promoting education and awareness on reproductive health and justice. I offer engaging and informative talks that inspire individuals to become advocates for reproductive rights. Through these talks, I aim to break down the stigma surrounding reproductive health topics and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their own bodies. Covering a wide range of issues, including contraception, abortion rights, access to healthcare, and the midwifery model of care, my talks are tailored to address the unique challenges faced by diverse communities. By creating a safe and inclusive space for discussion, I encourage dialogue and facilitate an understanding of the importance of reproductive health and justice for all.
